Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to stop by! The Meandering Mind is my place to write about anything and everything I want. I hope by doing this I can improve my writing skills as well put my work in a place where it can be viewed by others. I gladly welcome any feedback from my readers, and I also welcome any suggestions for a topic to cover.

Currently I am going back to school, majoring in philosophy, I am considering double majoring in writing, but there is still time to make that decision. For the past twelve years I have been working as a diesel mechanic. Over the course of those years I worked on various makes and models of semi-trucks as well as various forms of heavy equipment. Since I was a child, I have had a very mechanical mind, but also very creative.

Maybe something good will come from this. It would be nice to be able to make a living from my writing and get to devote more time to not only my college studies but my personal studies as well. If the only thing that comes from this adventure is that I get to see the quality of my work progress that is just fine with me. Life is all about taking chances, exploring ideas, and finding our own paths.
